How to cancel Spotify Premium (2026)
Premium stays until your next billing date, then your account switches to free. You keep your playlists and saved music.
Where did you subscribe?
Directly with Spotify (standard billing)
- Go to your Spotify account page and open "Manage your plan".
- Select "Cancel subscription".
Through a partner (mobile or internet provider)
- If you see "No option to change plan?", your plan is tied to a partner.
- In "Manage your plan", check "Payment" and use the partner's contact link on your account page.
- Cancel with the partner.
Family or Duo
- Manager: cancel with the steps above, then tell members. They lose Premium from the next payment date.
- Member: the steps only remove your account from the plan. Ask the plan manager to cancel.
