How to cancel iCloud+ (2026)

A downgrade or cancellation takes effect after your current billing period ends; your current plan stays active until then.

Where did you subscribe?

iPhone or iPad (iOS 18.4 and later)

1. Open Settings and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions and select iCloud+ under Active.
3. Tap "Cancel Subscription" (or "See All Plans" to downgrade).

iPhone, iOS 18 to 18.3

1. Open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud.
2. Tap Manage Plan under iCloud+ Features, then Downgrade Options.
3. Enter your Apple Account password if asked, select a plan, then tap Done.

iPhone, iOS 17 and earlier

1. Open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud.
2. Tap Manage Account Storage, then Downgrade Options.
3. Select a plan, then tap Done.

Mac (macOS Tahoe 26 and later)

1. Open System Settings, then Apple Account, then iCloud.
2. Under iCloud+ Features select Manage Plan.
3. Select Cancel Subscription, or See All Plans.

Mac (Sonoma through Sequoia)

1. Open System Settings, then Apple Account, then iCloud.
2. Select Manage Plan (Sonoma or earlier: Manage, then Change Storage Plan).
3. Select Downgrade Options, then Manage.
4. Choose a plan, then click Done.

Windows PC

1. Open iCloud for Windows and click Manage.
2. Click Change Storage Plan, then Downgrade Options.
3. Enter your Apple Account password and click Manage.
4. To cancel, select the free 5GB plan.
5. Click Done.
